New advisor for MSS Electrical’s Mideast expansion

UK-based MSS Electrical has welcomed Hassan Ramady, a well-respected GCC business consultant, as an advisor to its board.

Headed by British brothers Gerard and Liam Hall, MSS Electrical comprises two distinct divisions - LED lighting and wiring accessories, One Electrical and cop port and engineered components, MSS, said a statement.
 
Ramady established Chester-based Optimus International Consultancy to advise companies and open the markets through his networks gained over 37 years in the GCC in the oil and gas, power generation, construction and solar industries.
 
He worked in the UAE for 28 years diversifying the activities of the Alfahim Group, in the oil and gas and contracting sectors and was involved with the establishment of BICC Middle East Cables, renowned cable manufacturers, it said.
 
The groups turnover for the current financial year has been forecast to exceed $80 million, said the statement.
 
“Hassan brings with him a wealth of expertise and we are thrilled to welcome him on board,” said Gerard Hall.

“His invaluable local knowledge combined with our technical innovations will enable us to create highly sustainable solutions that support the region’s vision to reduce energy consumption and capitalise on its current growth spurt in preparation for Expo 2020.”
 
Liam Hall added: “Hassan’s industry experience speaks for itself and will greatly benefit our growing client base in this part of the world.
