Grandweld completes Global Marine project

Dubai, April 9, 2014

Dubai-based Grandweld, a leading and a fully integrated shipyard providing shipbuilding, ship repair and engineering solutions, celebrated the Keel laying for another two new 42 m aluminum crew boats for Global Marine.

Grandweld shipbuilding division is a specialist in the construction of all types of ships of both steel and aluminum at its facility in Dubai Maritime city.

These crew boats have been extensively tailored to meet Global Marine exacting requirements on layout, systems and performances, said the company in its statement.
 
The delivery of these two vessels are being planned for April and June 2015.

Grandweld said it was delighted at getting repeat orders from Global Marine for these classes of vessels.

The 42 M fast crew boats will be powered by 3 high speed diesel engines driving 3 fixed pitch propellers to produce a speed in excess of 26 knots.

The vessel features luxury crew seating capacity of 83 persons, and has 110 sqm loading area for over 90 Tons of deck cargo requirements, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
