Jacky’s showcases latest 3D printing products
Sharjah, April 7, 2014
Jacky’s Business Solutions is showcasing for the first time its range of latest 3D printing products at the Arabia Mold 2014, the international trade fair for mold-making, tooling, design, and application development.
The second Arabia Mold 2014, from April 7 to 10, is being held alongside second Plastivision Arabia at the Expo Centre Sharjah.
The 3D printing and scanning sector represents a growing market in the Middle East and Jacky’s Business Solutions, an end-to-end solutions provider for major corporations in the region, is capitalising on the increasing demand by providing the latest 3D printing products from industry giants, the company said.
The Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region, and specifically the GCC region, has emerged as a key driver of demand for mold-making tools, filtration instruments, welding equipment, cooling systems and other related industrial machines and accessories, the company said.
The GCC’s medical equipment manufacturing and packaging supplies sector is estimated at nearly $2 billion in 2011, while it is estimated at over $6 billion in the Middle East.
“Making the leap to world-class 3D printing at such a low cost is a revolution on its own and the 3D printing market in the region has been growing rapidly. Brands like Stratasys, MakerBot and Artec are at the core of this movement because they have not only brought this technology at a price that is becoming more affordable to the masses, but they have made it easier for everyone to use with their own applications,” said Ashish Panjabi, chief operating officer of Jacky’s Business Solutions.
Jacky’s stand will also showcase the world’s most advanced 3D printing technologies such as Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) for durable thermoplastic parts that withstand tough testing; and PolyJet, for precise models that look and feel like the final product. Among the products on display are Stratasys 3D FDM and Polyjet printers; Makerbot Replicator 2 3D printer and MakerBot Replicator 2X Experimental 3D Printer; and Artec 3D scanner for industrial application & reverse engineering. There will also be samples printed in metal on Concept Laser 3D printers and wax on SolidScape 3D printers.
The company will also give live demonstrations of its line of products from Stratasys, Makerbot and Artec 3D Scanner. - TradeArabia News Service
