Flare, Jordan form parent company ‘Aereon’

Flare Industries and Jordan Technologies has formed ‘Aereon,’ a parent company that provides customers a single-source supplier of environmentally-compliant gas and vapour combustion, handling and recovery equipment.

The company, which was founded as a result of Flare’s acquisition of Jordan, also offers service capabilities for upstream, midstream and downstream markets.

Aereon’s current subsidiaries include: Flare, an leader in design, manufacturing and installation of combustion and pollution controlled technology and equipment; Jordan, a leading supplier of vapour recovery units (VRUs); and Mactronic, a provider of waste gas solutions to petroleum, petrochemical and landfill gas industries.

With the combined product lines and service capabilities of Flare and Jordan, Aereon focuses on environmentally-compliant and cost-effective custom engineered and standard flares, high efficiency combustors, thermal oxidisers and VRU’s, while also offering the largest equipment service provider in the world.

The company, which is headquartered in Texas, operates in 44 countries.
