Arab Shipbuilding and Repair Yard (Asry) has awarded its best clients and agents of last year at an event held in Hotel Cipriani in Venice.

This was the fifth version of the annual ceremony designed to encourage long-term relationships and reward the loyalty of returning customers, reported the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.

Leading performers from a variety of categories were hosted and given bespoke awards by Asry's senior management.

Maersk Line, US, won the award for best international customer, Kuwait Oil Tanker Company won the award for Best Arab customer, Zamil Offshore Services, Saudi Arabia, won the award for best slipway customer and Vogler Marine Agencies, US, won the award for best agent.

Victoria Maritime Services was given a special appreciation award and Stolt Valor was given an award for outstanding project.-TradeArabia News Service
