Dubai to host big industrial gas summit

More than 40 big players in the gas industry will be in Dubai to attend the region's biggest industrial gas conference and exhibition being hosted by specialist media company gasworld in December.
‘Industrial gas’covers those sold for general (industrial) use (acetylene, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, oxygen, argon, nitrogen etc), Medical gases intended for use in the medical field (medical oxygen and air, nitrous oxide, medical carbon dioxide etc), and special gases which are rare, uncommon or specialty gases used in small quantities (helium, krypton, xenon, neon etc).
The industry is also closely related to the liquid natural gas (LNG) business, and so gasworld magazine covers this market as well, said the event organisers.
The conference, entitled ‘Driving Success in a Changing Market’, will see industrial experts be covering a range of exciting topics related to the industrial gas business in the Mena region, ranging from; "Drivers for growth, current and future gas markets, gas supply options and operations impacting on profitability.
Since hosting its very first conference in Dubai back in 2007, gasworld has travelled around the world providing a significant opportunity for those within the gas industry to join together.
This year's event promises to be bigger than earlier shows drawing the industrial gas community together to discuss debate and converse about current and future industry needs, said the organisers, gasworld, a publishing company supporting the industrial gas industry.
The conference will welcome a plethora of guest speakers from across the region including Bernardo Sestini, the president of SIAD healthcare; Joannes Mongardini, the head of Economics at Qatar National Bank; Ralf Gubler, the senior principal analyst IHS at Chemical and Alessandro Gorla, the managing director Linde Gas Middle East.
The event has already attracted major sponsors including Middle East Speciality Gases Company Gulf Cryo and global manufacturer of standard & engineered cryogenic equipment Inoxcva.
