Bahrain engineering firm gets ISO certification

Bahrain-based Ramsis Engineering said it has received the ISO standards 14001:2004 (for Environmental Management System) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (for Health & Safety System) from UK certification body QMF.
Ramsis Engineering is a leading supplier of equipment to the oil and gas industry in the Gulf region.
Yousaf Razaq, the director at QMF Global Consultants said, “We have been working with the management at Ramsis over the last 5 months in adopting these systems. It is a proud moment for both of us in attaining these accolades.'
'This current achievement neatly complements the recent award to Ramsis Engineering’s 10 employees who qualified as internal-auditors through QMF Global,' he added.
Faisal Riaz, the director at QMF Global Certification UK said, “Certification is the best way for an organisation to demonstrate commitment to continual improvement and Ramsis is one of a few organisations in Bahrain that has achieved conformance to multiple ISO standards.'
Michael Cucuz, the HSE manager said, 'We are all proud of the efforts taken by Ramsis employees, and management for implementing our new HSE management system, and being certified as an Integrated Management System (IMS) company.'
