Lebanon-based manufacturing firm Indevco is set to showcase its wide range of corrugated and flexible packaging products at the upcoming Gulf Print & Pack 2011 expo in Dubai.

'Gulf Print & Pack 2011' is a dedicated event for printing and packaging market in the Mena region which opens on Monday at Dubai Airport Expo and will run till March 17.

Indevco is the managing partner of Napco, a leading Middle Eastern group of manufacturing companies based in Saudi which boasts of over 3000 employees.

Indevco said along with Napco it will offer visitors a comprehensive ‘One-Stop Source for Packaging’ through its combined portfolio of corrugated and flexible packaging products at the expo.

The duo is actively engaged in sustainable initiatives, such as developing oxo-biodegradable plastic packaging and Greencoat wax-alternative corrugated packaging which is recyclable, repulpable, and compostable, said a statement from Indevco.

The firms will target key sectors including agricultural, beverage, catering disposables, chemical and petrochemical, dairy, hygiene disposables raw materials, industrial, paramedical, processed food, and soap and detergent.

Corrugated packaging companies include Union Packaging Corporation (Unipak), Halat, Lebanon; Unipak Nile, 6th of October City, Egypt; Unipak Hellas, Lerapetra, Crete, Greece; and Easternpak, Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Flexible packaging plants include Masterpak, Zouk, Lebanon; Napco Modern Plastics Products Company (sack division and technical division), National Paper Products Company and Compact in Dammam (Saudi) besides United Plastic Products, Napco Packaging Systems (Uniplast), and Multipak in Jeddah.-TradeArabia News Service
