Dubai sugar refinery restarts operations

Dubai's Al Khaleej sugar refinery, one of the the largest sugar refineries the world, restarted operations on Feb. 28 after a month-long shutdown, said the refinery's general manager.
"The refinery has restarted production and by next week we hope to be in a position to produce 7,000 tonnes a day if demand is there," general manager Cyrus Raja said.-Reuters
