Al-Baddad unveils expansion plans
Riyadh, August 22, 2010
Al-Baddad International, a subsidiary of Al-Baddad Global, has unveiled plans to make new investments in mobile halls and pre-fabricated buildings, taking the total investments to $10 million.
Al-Baddad International’s investment growth will focus on adopting modern development programs and investing in eco- friendly products, said Zayed Hussein Al-Baddad, chairman and CEO.
“There are currently new expansion plans that aim to provide local and international markets with many choices that suit all tastes and needs in accordance with the best internationally-recognized standards in terms of security, safety and environment,” said Al-Baddad.
He also noted that, despite difficult economic conditions experienced by most local markets, the production capacity and investments are increasing remarkably at Al-Baddad International, which allocated $2.2 million for the Saudi market alone to purchase environmentally-friendly raw materials.
The company relies on heat-insulating materials, leading to substantial reduction in power consumption. Additionally, Al-Baddad is allocating a significant share of investment on air conditioners that consume less power than the traditional air conditioners.
“Our portfolio of products saves time. Our products are also lightweight and soundproof,” Al-Baddad added.
Al-Baddad International has now embarked on the manufacture of halls that consist of two floors.
The opening of Al-Baddad Industrial Complex in TechnoPark at the Jebel Ali Free Zone by the end of this year will increase the company’s production capacity and will facilitate the delivery of products faster, he said. - Me NewsWire
