New post office opens in Abu Dhabi

Emirates Post has opened a new postal facility at the Centre for Integrated Government Services (TAMM) in Al Marfa in the western region.

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the Ruler in Western Region inaugurated the new post office in the presence of Saqer Ghobash, UAE Minister of Labour and Hamoud Al Mansoori, director general of Western area Municipality and Khalid Al Sa’adi, deputy director, First Postal Zone.

'This expansion is a natural response to the dynamic growth witnessed in Abu Dhabi, and we make sure that all our offices incorporate all elements of our modernisation program,” said Ibrahim Bin Karam, CEO of Emirates Post.

“We are continually striving to take postal services to the farthest corners of the UAE, after assessing the needs of the population,” he added.

The new post office will offer a variety of services, such as money transfer, utility bill payment and telephone cards. The centre is open from 7.30am to 3.30pm, from Saturday to Thursday, Bin Karam said.-TradeArabia News Service
