Emirates Extrusion installs new packing line
Dubai, March 8, 2010
Emirates Extrusion Factory (EEF), a leading aluminium extrusion company in the UAE, has announced the installation of an automatic packing line to boost its operational efficiency and meet rising demand.
EEF, a subsidiary of M’Sharie, the private equity arm of Dubai Investments, said the automatic packing line was purchased from EMMEBI-Italy, the leading global suppliers of packing and polishing technology.
With the new installed line, EEF said it can reach a packing output of 1,500 MT per month. 'This would put the company in a good position to satisfy increasing demand for high-quality packing, said a top official.
“At Emirates Extrusion, we realize that a proactive approach to technology is crucial to maintaining our competitive edge, and we constantly invest in the latest technology in order to increase our business efficiency and improve product quality,” said Khalfan Al Suwaidi, managing director of Emirates Extrusion Factory.
“The new automatic packing line will streamline our operational processes and dramatically increase productivity, allowing us to achieve significant cost and time savings and placing us comfortably. More importantly, it will improve our business readiness and allow us to meet rising customer demand,” Al Suwaidi noted.
The automatic packing line, he said, was expected to double EEF’s wrapping output and significantly improve the handling of baskets and trolleys, removing packing-related bottlenecks and allowing materials to be safely handled and packed.
'It will also eliminate the need to store profiles in bundles and pallets for long periods and, significantly, helps to improve the overall presentation of the finished profiles,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
