Emirates Boat Show ends on high note

The second edition of Emirates Boat Show 2009 held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre closed on a high note attracting target audience besides paaving way for the formation of a boating society in Abu Dhabi.
The four-day exhibition showcased more than 100 luxury boats and several aspects of the marine lifestyle from a 150 leading brands represented by exhibitors from 20 countries, said Knotika Holding, organisers of the boat show.
Wael Juju, chief executive officer- Knotika Holding, said the show generated huge interest from boat and yachting enthusiasts.
'We have also noticed this year that the show attracted big names in the UAE especially Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Minister of Interior and number of sports and governmental celebrities. This is an indicator that the show has achieved its target audience by attracting decision makers and people with influence on the society,' he noted.
Juju said the show managed to set the basic steps on the way to creating a boating society in Abu Dhabi that contributes to the huge development the emirate is witnessing in waterfront projects and attracting more and more investments to the marine industry.-TradeArabia News Service
