Bahra Cables Company, one of the leading cable factories in Saudi Arabia, has received the prominent Underwriters Laboratories (UL) product safety certification for its range of Thermoplastic-insulated wires and Power and Control Tray Cable Type TC.

A member of CPC Group of Companies, Bahra Cables, said that receiving UL certification as a trusted resource across the globe for product safety certification and compliance solutions was a major endorsement of the company's quality processes.

The basic standard used to investigate products in this category is UL 83, "Thermoplastic-insulated Wires and Cables," the company said in a statement.

Benefiting a range of customers - from manufacturers and consumers to regulatory bodies and code officials – Underwriters Laboratories has been testing products for public safety for more than a century, it added.
