Kuwait Citybus wins Superbrands Status

Citybus, Kuwait’s leading public transport provider, has received the prestigious Superbrands award for 2008, which recognises the company’s brand as being one of the strongest in the country.
A division of Transport & Warehousing Group, Citybus, received top scores in the diverse judging criteria of the award programme in Kuwait, said a company official.
The panel of judges took into consideration the fact that the company provides a modern and efficient public transportation service focusing on the needs of its passengers.
Moreover, the service has been developed to be more environmentally friendly through the use of cleaner fuel consumption.
“This award represents an important industry recognition of our efforts to grow and develop our company into the specialist that we have become,” said Yacoub Al-Sharhan, CEO of The Transport & Warehousing Group Company.
