Alba Laboratory has recorded highest quality performance in the world, it was revealed.

Among 31 other smelters in the world, the Alba Laboratory achieved the highest quality performance among the world's calcined coke producers and consumers in terms of quality of its analysis, which comes as part of the quality management programme that was organised by the World Swiss R&D Carbon Laboratory.

Alba's new achievement is a result of its commitment to international standards and regulations for quality management of calcined coke.

Alba owns its own calciner plant that meets the smelter's requirements and exports to other aluminium producers in the world.

The fact that some of these producers were also competing in this programme actually enhances Alba's international reputation in maintaining the highest quality standards and applying international standards and specifications in its analysis.

'Acquiring this top rank among the world's aluminium producers proves the high quality of Alba products and their high demand in the international market,' said Alba Laboratory manager Avinash Mittal.

'It also proves that Alba's lab contributes to improving the quality of our products, which goes in line with the regulations of international quality certificate ISO 9002 that was accredited to Alba few years ago.'-TradeArabia News Service
