Abu Dhabi Polymers Park, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Basic Industries, expects investment in the project to more than double in 2009 to a total of $52 million, said a report.

Abu Dhabi Polymers Park has begun construction of its first commercial plot on schedule, the Meed reported.

The  construction of the first group of factories on the site began in September last year, the report added.
