Bahrain Investment Wharf in spotlight

The Industry and Commerce Ministry is hosting a meeting today to outline business opportunities at Bahrain Investment Wharf.
'Other opportunities relating to services, industries, trade, health and education will also come under the spotlight,' BCCI industrial sector committee chairman Sharif Mohammed Ahmadi said.
He also urged businessmen and investors to attend and hold key discussions with wharf officials.
Launched in January 2006, the wharf aims at promoting Bahrain as a destination for investors and their business needs.
These include light and medium industries, logistics services, trade and residential buildings.
The 900,000 sq/m facility aspires to become a hub for logistics, warehousing, redistribution.
Apart from logistics services, the industrial complex also includes electrical machinery, manufactured products, chemical products, paper and by-products, inorganic and non-metallic goods, furniture, light rubber, plastic products, textile and light electronic products.
Around 300,000 sq/m have been earmarked for office buildings, training centres, conference venues and other commercials facilities. - TradeArabia News Service
