Dubai-based MCT Group of Companies has opened its second state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Dubai Investment Park.

MCT is a leading UAE group in the field of anti-corrosion control and construction chemical manufacturing industries with focus on polymer, corrosion, construction chemicals, building maintenance, technical mortars and renderings.

With 27 years experience in meeting the needs of all types of regional industry, MCT aims to build on its solid foundations with this new 18,500 sq m  fully automated plant, said a top official.

The eco-friendly plant has a maximum yearly output capacity of 60 million litres of concrete admixtures; 5,000 tonnes of sheet molding compound; five million litres of Epoxy and Liquid based products and 10,000 tonnes of Powder blended products.

"The facility will accommodate the manufacturing of MCT’s products catering to their existing client base as well as booming regional industries including oil and gas; construction; marine, and district cooling," Group CEO Peter Gaskin said. 

Commenting on its recent expansion, Gaskin said: “MCT has come a long way since its inception 27 years ago when we established ourselves as a credible supplier introducing the concept of corrosion control techniques. Since then we haven’t looked back. Our investment of Dh25 million in plant development is clear indication of how serious our commitment is to our customers, quality of service and to UAE.”
