Agility has won the Best Airfreight Forwarder Award at the Supply Chain Asia Awards in Hong Kong.

“The Agility brand was launched just one year ago and we are honoured to receive this prestigious award.  We also welcome the award as it is recognition, from our customers and business partners, of the hard work and dedication of our staff during the past 12 months,” said Agility’s Senior Vice-President for Asia Pacific Olaf Tauschke, who collected the award.

The event was attended by more than 300 senior industry professionals at the Bauhinia Room of the Hong Kong Conference and Exhibition Centre.

The award was presented by Tony Fedorowicz, Executive Council Member for Supply Chain Asia who sponsored the Best Airfreight Forwarder category.

Logistics and supply chain professionals, customers and readers of Asia’s leading logistics magazine Supply Chain Asia were polled and asked to vote for the best companies in 14 logistics industry sectors. The top five companies in each category qualified as finalists.

Following the nomination round a panel of judges comprising senior executives from across the Asian logistics industry including shippers, 3PLs, carriers, analysts and journalists evaluated the submissions of all finalists before deciding on the winner in each of the categories. – TradeArabia News Service
