Bahrain’s main specialist clinic treating patients with blood disorders will be expanded to cope with massive demand, the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication, has learnt. The Genetic Blood Disease Centre at Salmaniya Medical Complex (SMC), which opened in February last year, is currently only able to treat male patients.
