UK's Sidhil to launch new mattress systems in Dubai
, January 6, 2015
UK healthcare specialists Sidhil will be introducing two brand new mattress systems - the Artemis and the Acclaim Flow - into the Middle East healthcare market at the upcoming Arab Health Exhibition in Dubai.
A major manufacturer of hospital beds and cots in the UK, Sidhil will showcase the new mattress systems alongside products from its hospital bed and cot range at the event to be held from January 26 to 29.
The Acclaim Flow mattress replacement system is a combination of air cells and foam to achieve optimum pressure reduction. The system utilises automatically adjusting valves across 10 individual latitudinal air cells to respond to the patient’s weight and movements without the need for a powered pump. This ensures the best possible pressure reduction and support surface for the individual patient needs.
The Artemis dynamic mattress system is a fully automatic system for very high risk users. It’s a dual therapy system offering both alternating therapy for effective pressure relief and Constant Low pressure for optimum low pressures.
Also on display at Sidhil’s stand will be the brand new Innov8 iQ split side rails bed, the market leading Innov8 Low Hospital bed and also the Sidhil Inspiration Cot, said a statement from the UK firm.
Sidhil’s high performance Innov8 iQ bed with split side rails is used in general ward areas, specialist areas and for high dependent patients in CCU and HDU. The split side rails help protect the patient from the risk off falls, designed with patient safety in mind.
The Innov8 Low height bed has an exceptional low height and can be utilised as an everyday acute ward bed without compromising on patient outcomes, it stated.
The Inspiration Cot has been designed to improve the environment for patients, carers and parents alike. It combines the established traditions of strength, durability and functionality of Sidhil products whilst retaining a ‘fun’ and modern appearance, said the statement.
Paul Hampton, Sidhil’s export sales manager, said: “We look forward to demonstrating our brand new mattress systems at Arab Health this year. It is the ideal opportunity for Sidhil to raise its profile in the Middle East and we hope to meet with a number of new and existing distributors at the show.”
More than 3,500 exhibitors from over 140 countries will be at Arab Health, the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East. Over 80,000 people are expected to attend the event during the four days.-TradeArabia News Service
