DCAS, Prime Hospital in transport co-operation deal

Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) has signed a co-operation agreement with Prime Healthcare Group to transport sick and injured.
The deal aims at co-operation between the two institutions by transporting DCAS patients to Prime Hospital facility and by enabling the hospital to access the Patient Information System.
The main objectives of the accord are to reduce the time it takes transferring patients to the nearest hospital as well as, provide superior and appropriate services to the patients, along with the best available methods of treatments.
According to this, Prime Hospital is committed to facilitate an ambulance station for a quick patient’s assistance, all the necessary equipment, devices and doctors and/or specialists; in addition to a hotline number for the injured and their families.
Dr Jamil Ahmed, managing director of the group, said: "This agreement is another step towards co-operation between public and private sector that definitely, will lead in to a better healthcare service to Dubai and UAE citizens.”
Khalifa Al Daraai, executive director, praised Prime Hospital management team for its co-operation and expressed his hope for the agreement to contribute to the consolidation of medical and ambulance work to achieve both parties’ common interest: to preserve UAE citizens’ lives, by providing the best services in the shortest time possible.
