Kingdom Hospital phase one expansion complete

The phase one expansion of the Kingdom Hospital in Riyadh has been completed, doubling the capacity of the hospital.

The expansion, on the third and fourth floors of the hospital, added a comprehensive cardiac intensive care unit, in addition to a children’s care unit, and an intensive care unit for premature infants and newborns.

The hospital, part of the Kingdom Hospital and Consulting Clinics (KHCC), has also been equipped with the latest advanced medical equipment and devices for monitoring and to provide better care services and health care for inpatients.

Announcing the completion of the project, Kingdom Holding chairman Prince Alwaleed bin Talal said the expansion is in line with the company's investment strategy.

Eng Talal AlMaiman, executive director for development and domestic investments and KHC board member and chairman of Kingdom Hospital, said: “The next expansion will take the hospital to a total area of 84,000 sq m of medical space to provide more medical services.”

Kingdom Hospital, in the north of Riyadh, is one of the most advanced private hospitals in Saudi Arabia offering medical care using the latest equipment.  – TradeArabia News Service
