More than 200 dentists from the UAE are gathering today (March 24) in Ras Al Khaimah at a dental conference and lecture organised by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare – Sensodyne.

The summit at Al Hamra Fort Hotel & Beach Resorts will feature discussions on periodontal perspective of dental hypersensitivity, acid erosion, infection control and implant retained overdentures.

The event will serve as a platform for dental experts to share best practices with regard to the latest treatment techniques, in addition to serving as a forum to discuss pertinent issues, trends and solutions, a statement said.

“We are pleased with the high level of interest that was shown by our dental peers in RAK & the Northern Emirates at the dental conference, which I believe reflects the collective commitment to provide the best dental services to the community,” said Dr Aisha Sultan, president of the Dental Society of the Emirates Medical Association.
