Dubai, July 2, 2008
BinSina Pharmacy has won the award for 'Best Service Performance’ from Dubai Department of Economic Development in Pharmacy Category for its Mall of the Emirates outlet.
The award was presented by Sheikh Saeed bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai crown prince.
“As a customer-focused organisation, BinSina has consistently given top priority to high quality service and enhanced customer relations. We are proud to receive this award for the second consecutive year and this will help us strengthen our commitment to building and sustaining robust customer relationships based on the quality services,” said Ayman Hanbali, marketing manager, BinSina Pharmacy.
“The mystery shopper methodology and regular professional evaluation on international standards adds transparency and credibility to the awards scheme and enhances customer service standards in the UAE,” added Hanbali.
With a chain of 28-plus pharmacies across the UAE, BinSina Pharmacy commands 10 per cent of the market, against 1,400 other pharmacies operating in the country, he pointed out.
The 40-year-old UAE-based pharmacy has raised the bar on the pharmaceutical sector in the region through its commitment, expertise and service.
BinSina works with more than 100 suppliers, serving over 14,000 customers daily. The pharmacy stocks more than 7,000 different items at each of its outlets and dispenses more than 66 per cent of all of the insurance prescriptions for major insurance companies in the UAE.
The Department of Economic Development has introduced the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme to promote the importance of customer servicing in Dubai's retail sector.
BinSina Pharmacy has been a member of the scheme since the past two years and has supported this initiative since its inception. The awards are based on high customer service standards and a strict code of business ethics.-TradeArabia News Service
