Huawei, NGN partner for ICT training in Bahrain

MANAMA, May 20, 2018

Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider, has signed a partnership agreement with NGN Training Center, a part of multinational systems integrator NGN Group, to train a wide range of Bahrainis by 2019.

The partnership aims to develop the ICT skills of Bahrainis, broaden their career possibilities through Huawei Professional Certifications.

Bahraini students, graduates and professionals can avail of the training courses that will be conducted by Huawei-certified NGN trainers at the NGN Training Center licensed by Bahrain’s Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Labour and Social Development and approved by Tamkeen, Bahrain’s Labour Market Reform Fund.

The centre offers a wide range of ICT, management, soft skills, business and VR/AR trainings. NGN Training Center leverages NGN's Group global expertise in IT, systems integration and project implementation, to deliver practical experience and knowledge to students.

John Lu Yuedong, CEO of Huawei Bahrain, said: “Huawei believes in human capital, and the importance of enhancing the ICT skills of Bahrainis who are looking to start or improve their careers. This partnership will provide relevant courses by certified Huawei trainers, to develop their ICT skills to achieve their personal goals, and ultimately the Kingdom’s highest aspirations.”
