University of Manchester hosts business classes in UAE

DUBAI, January 10, 2018

The University of Manchester will host a series of three business masterclasses and an information session on the range of part-time masters degrees available in the region for qualified working professionals, in the UAE in January.

All the events will be led by a senior member of the university’s business school faculty. In addition to learning more about specialist subject areas, the sessions are an opportunity for qualified working professionals in the UAE to discuss their career, training and development goals, and to learn more about the university’s part-time masters programmes and shorter executive education courses.

The courses include Part-time Programmes Information Session , Masterclass on 'Interdependence & Competitive Strategy' and Masterclass on 'Mastering the Financial Tools of Effective Business Management'. All events are free to the public.

Randa Bessiso, director - Middle East, The University of Manchester, said: “At the start of a new year and in a rapidly changing business environment, working professionals need to understand the increasing complexity of business and be aware of the growing range of high quality business education opportunities available to them in the region.

“Our hosted events enable working professionals to gain insights into subject matter and meet our world class faculty, and learn more about business education and related career opportunities in the region.”

The University of Manchester Middle East Centre has supported more than 2,200 part-time MBA students based in the region and has graduated more than 1,100 students since opening in Dubai Knowledge Park in 2006, making it the largest and fastest growing centre in the University’s international network. The part-time study option leads to the award of internationally recognised masters degrees awarded by the University of Manchester. – TradeArabia News Service
