Manazel to build four new schools in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI, October 25, 2017

Manazel Real Estate, a leading UAE developer, has announced plans to build four schools within its  residential developments in capital Abu Dhabi.

The move is in line with Manazel’s strategy to develop fully integrated residential environments and its ongoing commitment to invest in and support the UAE’s wider education sector, said a statement from the company.

The schools will come up within its Al Reef and Ghantoot Hotel & Resort projects with Manazel seeking to attract a number of experienced international education institutions to its planned new facilities.

The Emirati developer will build two schools in its Al Reef Villas development, located near Al Raha beach and Abu Dhabi International Airport on the road to Shahama City.

The first one, spanning over 23,060 sq m, will cater to over 2000 kindergarten and primary level children, while the second school will cater to intermediate and secondary level children and will span over 16,604 sq m and accommodate over 1000 students.

Adding a unique theme for the residents of the Al Reef Villas, the education facility will consist of modern villa style units grouped into four distinct architectural themes which will include Arabian, Desert, as well as Mediterranean and Contemporary themes, said the statement from Manazel.

The third school will be built in Al Reef 2 in Al Samha, Abu Dhabi which has 860 villas and will cater to kindergarten children and span over 18,218 sq m and will accommodate around 1000 students.

The fourth school will be located within the Ghantoot Hotel & Resort in Abu Dhabi and will also cater to early level and kindergarten children and will cover 25,779 sq m and accommodate approximately 1,200 students.

Manazel’s chairman Mohamed M. Al Qubaisi said the building of these education facilities is directly in line with Manazel’s commitment to provide fully integrated environments for its residential communities.

“Our school building programme will support the on-going growth of our communities and provide much needed educational facilities for all of the families that live in our developments," observed Al Qubaisi.

"Our vision is to create fully integrated communities that combine education health, shopping and entertainment within a modern urban environment," he stated.

According to him, Manazel remains focused on delivering steady and sustained growth in tandem with its expansion strategy, which is aimed at diversifying the group's real estate business into new and growth sectors such as education and healthcare.

"This in turn will deliver significant revenue growth and shareholder returns over the longer term," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
