Enoc to showcase 70 new job prospects at Careers UAE

DUBAI, April 6, 2017

Enoc Group (Emirates National Oil Company), a leading international oil and gas player, is offering more than 70 job opportunities and on-the-job training programmes at the upcoming Careers UAE 2017 in Dubai, UAE.

The event runs from April9 to 11 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Enoc is recruiting young UAE nationals in core oil and gas specialisations to support the company’s growth strategy. These specialisations include finance, marketing, HR and administration, operations and maintenance, engineering, environment, health and safety, quality and audit, customer services and communications.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of Enoc, said: “Through our participation at Careers UAE we underline our commitment to achieve the Emiratisation goals set by the UAE Government and support the 2021 National Agenda announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to promote education and job creation for Emiratis.

As part of its commitment to raising awareness about training and development programmes to advance the UAE’s talent pool, the Group revamped its National Development Programme in line with its Emiratisation strategy to include three levels Tatweer, Mawaheb and Imtiaz that aim to develop functional, technical, behavioural and managerial competencies.

Tatweer – Foundational functional competency-based skill building programme for entry level technical staff, graduates and non-technical staff

Mawaheb – ‘Talent Building’ development program focused on developing both functional and behavioural competencies

Imtiaz – ‘Future Leaders’ program designed to further develop leadership competence and capability

In 2016, the Group launched a Technical Training Programme in collaboration with a number of academic institutes including Higher Colleges of Technology and ADVETI for Emiratis to build their technical competencies. A total of 15 students from ADVETI have successfully completed the On-Job Training programme in March. And 15 trainees will join the operations in December after completing their Technical Training Programme in HCT. – TradeArabia News Service
