Batelco hosts Injaz Bahrain board meeting
MANAMA, November 10, 2016
Batelco, Bahrain’s leading telecom provider, recently hosted the quarterly board of directors meeting of Injaz Bahrain, a non-profit organization that aims to empower young people, at its headquarters in Hamala.
The meeting was attended by Injaz Bahrain executive director Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa; chairman Dr Abdulrahman Jawahery and other board members, including the CEO of Batelco Bahrain Engineer Muna Al Hashemi.
“We are pleased to welcome the board of directors to Batelco. The meeting was very fruitful with a number of current and new initiatives discussed which will help the organisation to get off to a good start for the Academic year 2016-2017. Injaz continues to grow in strength annually by boosting the potential of a huge number of young people in Bahrain and steering them towards a bright future,” said Al Hashemi.
Injaz Bahrain was established in 2005 as part of Junior Achievement Worldwide with the aim of empowering young people to own their economic success and be prepared for today's business challenges. With the help of its partners and volunteers, Injaz Bahrain impacts thousands of students every year bringing them closer to the real world and opening their minds to their own potential, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
