General Electric joins HBR Arabia programme

DUBAI, October 11, 2016

General Electric (GE) has joined the Renaissance Partners, a programme by Harvard Business Review Arabia that widens access to the magazine's top quality management content.

A strategic partner of the programme, GE’s contribution will help provide gift subscriptions across the Arab World for individuals who cannot afford HBR Arabia’s subscription fees.

Nabil Habayeb, president and CEO of GE Mena & Turkey, said, “GE's contribution to this programme is part of our commitment to empowering Arab youth in business through access to world-class knowledge and experience. There is no better option to do that than through the Arabic edition of Harvard Business Review.”

Abdulsalam Haykal, chairman of Haykal Media, publisher of HBR Arabia, said: “Good quality Arabic content is a growth imperative. We realize the big demand on this type of content across the Arab world, and want to make it accessible to everyone that wants to read. GE's leadership in backing this vision is inspiring.”

HBR Arabia aims to address management gap in the Arab World, which hinders growth and slows down the economic cycle and reform programmes. The “Renaissance Partners” brings the world's best management content to the widest segment of Arabic readers regardless of their means or spending priorities. – TradeArabia News Service
