Unikai enlists Seidor to boost HR system
DUBAI, August 11, 2016
Unikai, a leading FMCG player in the Middle East, has picked Seidor Mena, a Dubai-based multinational company, to enhance its human resources system.
The move comes as Unikai is expanding its operations in over 29 countries globally, including recent entries into Bahrain and Qatar.
Unikai was seeking to transform its HR systems and processes necessitated by its growth and belief of investing in people and talent. It sought to partner with a company that would provide a robust human capital management solution covering payroll management with efficient employee and management self-services.
“We believe that we can achieve better business efficiencies by deploying the Seidor NOMINA solution within our HR systems,” said Neeraj Vohra, CEO of Unikai.
“It will drive greater operational efficiencies, by helping us devote our time and efforts towards our core business of providing superior quality food products to our customers across the UAE, Oman and other 29 markets. Through investment in a robust human capital system, we are minimizing human intervention, achieving more efficient budgeting, and improving our decision making and planning process.
“Unikai decided on Seidor Nomina solution following a thorough assessment of a variety of solutions specialised in payroll management process automation. Seidor Nomina was chosen for its in-depth knowledge and expertise in developing the current system deployed in Unikai to boost productivity and employee satisfaction,” Vohra added.
Ignacio Ruiz de Eguilaz, Seidor Mena managing director, said: “We are proud to get Unikai on board and support their human capital management approach. Seidor Nomina solution will automate human capital management process in smart ways, enabling the HR Department to focus on workforce, and employees to focus on their jobs.”
“Our solution Nomina is fully compliant with UAE and GCC labour laws and statutory requirements. We believe that keeping employees happy through timely payments and keeping the company healthy through better visibility over cashflow are critical in managing people. Our system is endorsed by several leading UAE companies,” he said. - TradeArabia News Service
