Ebrahim exhibiting his concept at Copenhagen
Bahrain entrepreneur wins honorary award
MANAMA, BAHRAIN , December 9, 2015
Bahraini entrepreneur Ebrahim Hameed was recently honoured for his green business concept at a global event in Denmark, Copenhagen.
Hameed, the owner of Nature Path, was recently awarded at the Creative Business Cup (CBC) for his business concept, which provides a green and environmentally friendly production of compost by turning waste into an organic soil fertilizer.
The CBC is a unique global network and marketplace that allows creative entrepreneurs to scale their business concepts, connect with investors and partners and boost their international business potential.
The company is part of the portfolio companies of Tenmou, which aims to support entrepreneurs with business assistance, including financial investment, mentorship, advice and guidance.
Each project receives practical advice and training from the company’s board members, who bring with them a wealth of business experience. These training sessions expose the entrepreneurs to real business situations and are conducted in the form of workshops, on a regular basis.
The project had already won the first place in the CBC Gulf Competition held in Bahrain during Global Entrepreneurship Week last month.
Commenting on announcement Hasan Haider, CEO of Tenmou said, “We are proud of Ebrahim Hameed and this milestone achievement. Receiving recognition from a prestigious international organisation is a success for Tenmou and for Bahrain in particular.”
The high-profile three-day event was attended by winners from 45 countries and included several workshops and the opportunity to pitch to an international audience of business angel investors.
The awards ceremony was held in the Main Hall of The Royal School of Architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark. The closing ceremony was attended by the Crown Prince of Denmark, where the winners of the competition were announced and awarded their prizes. -TradeArabia News Service
