UAE medical university set for convocation
AJMAN, UAE, December 6, 2015
Gulf Medical University (GMU) will be organising its 12th annual convocation at the Emirates Hospitality Centre in Al Jurf, Ahman, on December 9.
The private university, owned and operated by the Thumbay Group, offers a range of courses including MBBS, BPT, DMD, PharmD and Masters Programs in Clinical Pathology, Public Health, and Toxicology.
Ajman Ruler Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, will be the chief guest of the ceremony, which will be presided over by Thumbay Moideen, president of the board at the university.
Sheikh Humaid will award the degrees to graduates, after which they will be administered the graduation oath.
The best outgoing students of the class of 2015 will also be honoured at the function.
GMU is home to the Centre for Advanced Biomedical Research and Innovation (CABRI), one of the biggest laboratory chains in UAE. -TradeArabia News Service
