The session at Hamad Town Charity

Tamkeen enhances awareness of support programmes

MANAMA, January 12, 2015

Bahrain’s labour fund Tamkeen conducted a series of orientation sessions in communities around the kingdom.

The sessions, which were attended by a large number of business owners and individuals, were organised as part of Tamkeen’s community outreach efforts which seeks to enhance awareness of the various support programmes and services to develop enterprises and Bahrainis in the private sector, said a statement.

It was held in the Islamic Society in Arad, Al-Shakhoura Youth Centre, Mohammad Al-Jowder Majlis in Muharraq, and Hamad Town Charity.

The topics discussed focused on the revamped Enterprise Support programme, which was re-launched last September with a host of new convenient features, in line with Tamkeen’s strategic focus on enhancing quality, customer support, and achieving results.

These improvements include a dedicated online portal for submitting and tracking applications, as well as a re-designed assessment model to ensure each enterprise receives customised support solutions to grow and develop.

The Community Engagement Initiative seeks to strengthen direct engagement with the various segments of the community.

In addition to the orientation sessions conducted regularly, the initiative involves local community representatives across all governorates who support Tamkeen’s customer-centric strategy. - TradeArabia News Service
