Eton to showcase training programmes at Dubai show

DUBAI, December 4, 2014

Eton Institute, a leading language and professional development training provider, is set to present its innovative training programmes to increase employee retention at an upcoming human capital and corporate learning event.

The Training and Development Show ME 2014 will take place on December 8 and 9 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

In today's highly competitive labour market, employee retention has become a significant challenge as business professionals are constantly seeking opportunities to maximise their potential and professional growth, said a statement.

According to a research by Forbes, the primary reason for high employee turnover is the lack of career development programmes.

Offering employees personal and professional improvement options helps retention, with estimates from an Inc.com research indicate that employee turnover costs can run as high as 150 to 200 per cent of annual salary.

Additionally, training and development programmes for employees have shown an increase in job satisfaction, employee engagement and higher productivity, avoiding the expenses of the long recruitment process that can take between four weeks to six months.

Moaz Khan, marketing director, said: ”An employee's development is not an expense but an investment. The competition in the business environment has changed rapidly and investments are necessary for those that expect to be around for the long run.

"Organisations need talented employees that can come up with something different and creative. Providing opportunities for professional growth retains these employees.”

As part of its ongoing commitment to provide the latest training solutions for companies around the world, Eton Institute will be delivering a seminar at the show 'Linking Training to Powerful Performance’ and ’Learning & Development Campfires.’

Eton Institute will also present daily 15-minute in-booth power sessions, to provide HR practitioners insights in cross-cultural communication and to enhance employee engagement in the workplace. - TradeArabia News Service
