Etisalat hosts mobile learning conference

UAE’s leading telecom operator Etisalat and UAE University have organised a conference, aimed at modelling best classroom practices and showcase how mobile technology can be integrated effectively into teaching and learning.
The first ‘Embracing Mobile Learning’ conference took place at the university’s campus in Al Ain.
It acted as a platform to exchange insights and innovations from the region’s ICT domain, regarding the effectiveness of mobile strategies and their influence on student engagement and learning.
Representatives from higher education faculty member and executives, graduates and Ph D students, instructional technologists, business and government officials shared global perspectives at the conference, said a statement from Etisalat.
Participants had the chance to network, attend professional development workshops, and discuss topics such as materials production, engaging teaching techniques, and mobile literacy, it stated.
