Bahrain launches Arab leadership forum

Manama, November 4, 2011

Young Arab Leaders (YAL) Bahrain has announced the launch of its annual three-day intensive Arab Leadership Forum (ALF) 2011.

The event, which was postponed earlier this year, will be held from November 22 to 24 at the Bahrain International Circuit and 200 handpicked young Bahraini professionals will be selected for the event.

It is being sponsored by Kuwait Finance House, Manara Developments and Bapco. Gulf Hill & Knowlton and Memac Oglivy & Mather have also been named communications and creative partners respectively.

Economic Development Board chief executive and YAL Bahrain chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Essa Al Khalifa said that ALF 2011 will help motivate, guide, and nurture leadership skills amongst Arab youth to help them unleash their potential and will build on experience gained at the previous events held in 2009 and 2010.

'This year's forum features some truly inspirational speakers who will challenge participants to embark on a path of personal and professional self-discovery, propelling them towards enhancing their leadership skills in both their careers and personal approach,' he noted.

'We are also proud to have a number of local motivational speakers this year that will inspire our youth and demonstrate Bahrain's very own success stories and local talent pool,' he added.

'The event will feature some of the region's top leaders sharing their success stories in addition to international leadership trainers including GAIA Grant, best-selling author and leadership consultant, Manoj Sharma, corporate strategist, and international speaker Robert Pante,' he added.

Also in the speakers line-up are inJAz Bahrain executive director Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, leading nutritionist Alia Al Moayyed, and American Express chief executive Mazin Khoury.-TradeArabia News Service
