PMU to train Sabic scholarship students

Al Khobar, October 27, 2011

Saudi Eastern Province’s Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University (PMU) has entered into a collaboration with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic) to train selected students for their international exposure.

The agreement between PMU and Sabic covers a three-month-long rigorous preparatory program and is part of the scholarship awarded to 81 students for further studies in famous American universities next year.

Selected students have been enrolled in PMU and their orientation was completed recently. They are part of the seventh batch of the Sabic Foreign Scholarship Program, started in 2005.

PMU Rector Dr Issa Al-Ansari and executive vice president, human resources, Sabic, Yousef Abdullah Al-Benyan signed the agreement at the PMU campus.

Dr Al-Ansari said PMU had designed a unique training program for the students based on practicality. –TradeArabia News Service
