UOWD to hold information session in RAK

Dubai, July 27, 2011

The University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) will hold a special undergraduate and postgraduate information session in Ras al Khaimah this weekend.

The session will be held at Cove Rotana Resort on Friday, July 29, from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

“Our postgraduate and undergraduate degrees are among the most popular in the UAE and enrolments have been rising substantially over the years,” said Professor Rob Whelan, president of UOWD.

“We are organizing information session in five emirates, due to growing interest in our programs from across the UAE.”

Currently, UOWD has a total of 1,030 postgraduate students, of who over 822 are residents of the UAE. While 493 are Dubai residents, 329 come from the neighbouring emirates of Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah, Ajman and Um Al Quwain. – TradeArabia News Service
