Injazat wins UAE ministry contract

The UAE Ministry of Education has signed up Injazat Data Systems, a leading IT services company, to provide support services to the ministry’s bureaus in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well as public schools in the emirate.
The agreement covers services at all levels and in various fields including technical support, anti-viruses, periodic maintenance for computers, local network services for future schools and assistance to the ministry’s e-service staff.
Under the deal, Injazat will deliver support services for the Ministry Headquarters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, ministry depositories and branches, offices in the educational districts and training centers, as well as all 421 public schools in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

As per the agreement, only authorized persons including Ministry employees in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, office employees in educational districts and training centers, and three designated employees in every public school will contact the IT Helpdesk Support office.
'This partnership will enable us to learn more about the technology needs of the educational sector and tap our leading solutions to come up with more effective IT infrastructures for the country’s educational network,' Pandalangat noted.
According to him, Injazat will co-ordinate with the ministry's IT Department in monitoring and maintaining technical services under the program, which will facilitate direct communications in the education field as well as identify and record all technical problems experienced by schools.
It will also offer the best practices and help promote operational efficiency within the UAE’s educational infrastructure, Pandalangat added.-TradeArabia News Service
