R&M completes training workshops

Dubai, January 18, 2010

Reichle & De-Massari, the Swiss structured cabling specialist (R&M) has announced the completion of a successful 2009 series of the popular Qualified Partner Program (QPP) training workshops across the Middle East region.

R&M’s QPP in the Middle East has been running since 2004 and its the first region outside Switzerland to offer this in-depth training aimed at three main target groups - planners, project managers and installers.

The company said it now plans to expand its reach to North Africa as well as further across the Levant region.

The program, conducted by Andrew Sedman, R&M Middle East and Africa's technical director, has helped a number of partners & end users successfully graduate from various industries.

R&M QPP workshops are intense, consisting of 2 full day courses and this entitles attendees to a certificate of attendance at the end of it.

The first program is all about “Geared Installations” and is designed to pass on everything about best installation practices, as well as provide attendees with the latest information in the cabling industry, explained Sedman.

R&M ensure a hands-on approach is delivered during the training program, with participants going through real-life situations which can arise during a cabling project implementation.

The second program is aimed at the planners, designers, consultants, and project managers offering an in-depth understanding of the latest standard practices for design and project management, he added.

Companies which take part in this, gain a “certified partner of R&M” certificate as well as an identification card, which contains their unique ID number for ease of reference when contacting R&M and applying for extended warranties, Sedman said.

'It highlights R&M’s commitment to ensuring total customer satisfaction and quality assurance to the region, by providing channel partners with access to expert guidance and technical training, ensuring that they are up to speed with the latest developments in networking solutions,' he added.

With a reputation worldwide as a leader in advanced and industry-proven innovations in high end copper cables and fiber optics, R&M looks forward to continuing to add value to its partners and end-users across the region in 2010, said Sedman.

'The QPP training program offered at R&M’s Middle East academy is aimed at R&M’s channel partners to provide them with the necessary tools to deliver on superior services & solution offerings to their customers,' he explained.

'The main objective from the outset when the ME academy was established in 2008 was to underline R&M’s commitment to the region, and its customers, ensuring they receive quality products and services that reflect R&M’s values and high standards that are synonymous with the brand,' Sedman pointed out.

“In addition to partners, there are a number of contracting companies, and IT/ Datacentres managers from a wide range of industries such as Petrochemicals, and Government, who also attend the program on a regular basis,” he added.-TradeArabia News Service
