Clarendon Parker offers job hunting tips

Clarendon Parker Middle East, part of leading employment services provider Manpower, recently attended Middlesex University Dubai’s annual Career Day and offered tips to graduating students on job hunting strategies.

The event took place at the university’s Knowledge Village campus. It was part of Clarendon Parker’s efforts to impart its experience and approaches to the world of work via visits to colleges and universities.

Among the topics discussed were interview tips, resume writing tools, industry trends and current workplace practices. Clarendon Parker also explained how it can continuously assist students from graduation and onwards as they progress through their careers and ranks.

“Demand for labour remains relatively strong in the Middle East, especially as the service sector has been growing rapidly in the region,” said Patrick Luby, managing director, Clarendon Parker Middle East.

“However, graduating students need to understand that their employability, especially into the types of jobs they desire, will rely on their preparedness in terms of their job hunting skills and how much they understand industry conditions,” he added.
