Career Expo to hold popular quiz show
Manama, October 20, 2008
Following the success of the Career Expo quiz show during the earlier years, the organisers in conjunction with Gulf University, have decided to hold the interactive and amusing show again during Career Expo 2008.
The Expo will take place at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), under the patronage of Dr Majeed Al Alawi, Minister of Labour, and under the auspices of the National Society for Support of Education & Training (NSSET).
The event will run from October 21 to 24. The Gulf University Quiz Show will be held during the afternoon sessions of the Expo.
'Involvement in an event such as Career Expo is very much in line with Gulf University’s endeavour to be more than a place of study. We want our students to put the knowledge we have given them to practical use; we want to release them into the workforce as mature, prepared and well-informed professionals,' stated Dr Mona Al Zayani, president of Gulf University.
Career Expo is a non-profit event being organized for the 8th time and targets Bahraini secondary students, vocational students, jobseekers, parents, and the community at large.-TradeArabia News Service
