SAE opens new campus in Jordan

Amman, March 3, 2008

SAE Institute, one of the largest audio engineering, animation, film making and multi-media institute, officially opened its new campus in Jordan.

Princess Rym Al Ali inaugurated the SAE institute's 49th campus, SAE Amman, on Airport Road in the presence of  Akel Biltaji, senator, Trevor Peacock, Australian ambassador, Dr Tom Misner, founder and president SAE International, Ishaq Safadi, president, Luminus Group, the owners of SAE Institute Amman and Ibrahim Safadi, CEO, Luminus Group.

SAE International and Luminus Group, the owners of SAE Institute Amman, also announced plans to open a SAE Institute in Cairo next year.

SAE Amman, Middlesex University and SAE International said they will begin the process of accrediting SAE Amman as an SAE International degree centre. 

The Amman campus will also offer SAE/Middlesex University Arts degrees in animation, film making, multi media and audio engineering, said a top SAE Institute official.

“SAE Institute Amman is simply a wondrous example of uncompromising beauty and unparalleled facilities – truly a work of art. It is without question one of the premiere campuses around the SAE world. We are delighted with the extraordinary opening of the Amman campus, a first ever for SAE world wide, said Dr Misner.

"We are encouraged by this partnership and look forward to another successful opening with Luminus Group in Cairo,” he added.

“Today marks a significant milestone in our corporate history and the success of SAE Institute Amman has helped Luminus Group realise its vision to provide global education services to students in the Levant region.
