CA backs YAL efforts

Dubai , July 2, 2007

CA, one of the world’s largest management software companies, announced their official partnership with the Young Arab Leaders (YAL) organisation.

This is through the CA Together Program, CA’s global community relations programme focused on improving educational opportunities for underserved children and young people.

CA’s financial contribution will help launch and implement YAL’s regional Youth Network Initiative which seeks to establish leadership clubs in high schools and universities, along with mentorship programs.

YAL will support these club members by providing them with information and guidance, to help promote their career development.

Rasha Al Saleh, managing director of the Young Arab Leaders said:

“We are pleased to work with a global leader like CA and strongly believe that our mutual efforts will go a long way in placing the local Arab men and women in the global competitive arena.”

Ned S Jaroudi, CA’s vice-president of Partner Marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and a YAL member said:

“For more than three decades, CA has supported communities where its employees live and work.

“We are proud to partner with organizations like YAL who share our mission of helping others reach their fullest potential and achieve more.”

Launched in 2004 at the World Economic Forum, YAL is an independent pan-Arab organisation which aims to create the necessary environment for future leaders to grow and develop in the region.
