Bahrain PM vows clamp on price rise

Bahrain's government will not spare any efffort to improve citizens' standards of living under the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad, HRH the Premier pledged last night.

He thanked His Majesty for his royal directives to pay BD1,000 to all Bahraini families on the 10th anniversary of the National Action Charter.

The charter is a landmark occasion when Bahrain's citizens rallied their leadership, and continue to do so today, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said.

He directed the Industry and Commerce Ministry and other concerned authorities to exert strict control on food prices to ensure that citizens can benefit fully from the royal gesture.

The memory of the charter's success will always be cherished as it heralded His Majesty King Hamad's landmark reforms project which earned Bahrain glory and pride thanks to its achievements.-TradeArabia News Service
