Arabtec wins contract to build over 350 villas at Dubailand

Arabtec Holding, a a leading contractor for social and economic infrastructure, said one of its units has secured a Dh222-million ($60.4 million) contract from UAE master-developer Dubai Properties to build 352 villas within Amaranta development at Villanova, a key residential community in Dubailand.
Centrally located at the intersection of the Dubai-Al Ain Road with Emirates Road, the distinct community is only five minutes away from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and close to Dubai’s major business and retail hubs.
The contract has been awarded to Arabtec Construction and the work is due to be completed in 20 months, said a statement from Arabtec.
The façade design of each of the townhouses is inspired by contemporary Mediterranean architecture, with the spacious units featuring elegantly finished interiors and bright natural colours that complement a relaxed lifestyle, it stated.
On the contract win, group CEO Hamish Tyrwhitt said: "We are delighted that Dubai Properties continues to show confidence in Arabtec Construction through the award of our fifth phase at the Villanova Project, further building on our solid relationships in our core markets."
