MANAMA, July 16, 2018

Bahrain's Housing Ministry has announced that it had delivered 690 residential units from the Al Lawzi housing project to beneficiaries over the past week, said a report.

The move follows the order of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to distribute 5,000 housing units, within the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to meet the citizens’ needs marking the holy month of Ramadan, and in line with the ongoing efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, to continue implementing its action plan, reported BNA.

The Housing Ministry's undersecretary, Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, said it was working as per schedule to complete the distribution of units from the Umm Al Hassam housing project, Khalifa Town, Salman Town, Arad project, the Buseiteen project, Bloc 609 in Sitra, the Hajiyat flats and Al-Lawzi, stated the report.

Shaikh Abdulla pointed out that the unit-distribution process went on smoothly, affirming the ministry’s commitment to harnessing its potentials to complete the distribution of the 5,000 units ordered by HRH Crown Prince by the end of August.

The housing units under the Salman Town project will be delivered next week, he added.
